For over 35 years, the NICEM database has held information about nonprint educational and training media products from both large and small producers and distributors. The database currently contains details of over 630,000 products, of which approximately 150,000 are available for purchase from various sources worldwide. Until now that information has been provided to users and purchasers of educational and training media on a subscription basis.

In response to market developments and requests from both sides of the educational and training media community, we launched MediaSleuth, using the NICEM database, in order to allow a single comprehensive source for purchasing and cataloging nonprint educational materials. Global access to MediaSleuth is free to all users, recommenders and buyers of such materials.

Buyers place their orders online using either a credit card, purchase order, prepaid account, check or money order, which is verified by MediaSleuth. The order is then passed on to you for fulfillment on a drop-ship basis, and MediaSleuth is billed for the cost.

Our distributor agreement calls for MediaSleuth to retain a commission on all orders received. A portion of this commission will be passed on to buyers as discounts and incentives, thus expanding your customer base.

Participation in the service is not exclusive, meaning that you are free to continue with, or to make new arrangements with, any other sub-distributors, dealers, jobbers, etc. that you wish. Participating in MediaSleuth thus offers you an additional source of sales revenue, without the additional costs of marketing and promotion.

Until now, we have included only NICEM-generated, impartial abstracts in our product descriptions. We now include any summary or other text that producers and distributors wish to include that will promote their products to the buyer.
